Fuel pump humming and buzzing

[Silver 99 Camaro]

The fuel pump is humming quietly (new noise) and now started buzzing. I am assuming this means it's on the way out.

It was replaced under warranty at 30K and I now have 58K. I also replaced the fuel filter at 30K and never run my tank low. Despite all of this it is making noise.

Why are these cars such junk? Horrible fuel pumps, my AC compressor is on the way out, and ton of other stuff. I think it's time to trade the Camaro in. I take very good care of it, yet it is the worst car I have ever owned for reliability. Does anyone else feel this way or do I have a lousy car?

(1)i dont think they are junk.
(2)with the luck your having with that car and how you feel, i would too.
(3)some think the same and you dont have a lousy car, just bad luck.

just have it checked and go from there

The car died and I had it towed this morning. The fuel pump failed. My car is junk and it's history.

You have a car that represents the pinnacle of General Morons quality. I don't blame you for ditching the car...if mine had as much crap go wrong with it as yours, I'd can it too.
