P0446 and P0452 Codes - still dealing with this.

    P0446 and P0452 Codes - still dealing with this.

    2002 Pontiac Firebird...
    I dont understand this at all. The SES isn't always on for this code. Sometimes its on and on for a very long time (weeks) and other times it will be off for days, sometimes a week but it always comes back.

    No drivability problems.

    I replaced the Purge Valve in the engine bay.

    Gas cap is fine.

    What could be causing this?

    Lots of vacuum hose's in the back of the car just in front of the gas tank and around the filler neck.

      I dont see any hoses around the filler neck...

      I see three fuel lines under the axel, but thats it...

        Look under the filller neck. There is a plastic panel in the drivers wheel well you can remove. The charcoal canister is there. One of the plastic lines is the purge for the canister.

            What year is your car?

            Do you have a small black box in front of the gas tank with any hose's going to it?

              It's a 2002. I can't tell right now because I have to get under the car and it's raining outside.
