    ok im putting my new engine back in and im having a prob thwee struts wont lien up with the holes in the engine bay one side lines up but the others side want and vise versus i thik its becuase there to much force on the struts so i hade an idea to take them off from the btottom and intsall them into the engine bay and then sit the engine on them and than put the bolts in the k member do you think these would work let me knwo if you have any ides also foranyone that know theres a small hole in the back of the upper intake wtf goes there its really small all the way in the back on the top thanks

    See thats why you don't drop the engine out the bottom.

      um dropping from the bottom is the way it goes nowadays all tech's use this method and for Fbodys its not much of an option. just pop the struts off till u get the crossmembers bolted back to the body.
      2004 srt4 few goodies<br />13.3 @ 103.4

        im afraid if i do that they want go back in its a tight squezze so i was thinking bolting then up from the top first than the bottom once the k member is in and also taking it out from the bottom is not that hard actually pretty easy

          putting the struts in after k member will be just like a strut swap not that hard. bolting them up then droppin car on member will be even more items to line up on the drop.
