replaced heater core

I replaced heater core and top off fuild in my 99 v6. but still no heat.. the floor boards are dry and there is no leak that i can tell.

Is the engine getting up to normal temp?

air bubble in the coolant system? Hoses in/out of heater core hot or cold?

the engine is running normal temp. and tonight its working fine, but yesterday when I check the lines the metal on was cold (cant remember if thats the in or out) but the rubber one was hot.

Sounds like air bubble. Hopefully it's out now.
