That was old info. The TR6's are a projected tip plug, where the BR7EF's are non-projected. A projected tip plug might as well be a blowtorch in your combustion chamber.
alright i will go buy 6 blowtorches right away.
Wait, Is that a V6 or V8? 1990 Chevrolet C-K 1500 series 4.3L .. 5spd
1994 JDM Euno Roadster 1.8L 5spd Bolt Ons.. etc 2000 Camaro 3.8L Auto Bolt Ons..etc
IF your running Nitrous run TR6 plugs your burn up something running TR55 plugs , def. start to use a multimeter on the problems at hand, check the IAC and the MAf voltage, along with all the others up there also the MAP sensor. Reduced power is the MAF.

Yeah I am using TR6's and will remain doing so, but ive never used a mutimeter, ill have to find/figure that out, and find the voltages as well. must be a thread listing them somewhere.

Listen up, the both of you. DO NOT use TR6's. They are NOT suitable for nitrous. They WILL cause detonation. I can not make this any clearer.
DTC P1221 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Low
DTC P1516 Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance
DTC P1515 Electronic Throttle System Throttle Position
All of those codes indicate a problem in the Throttle Position Sensor, that will def make the car run like ***. You can replace the throttle body 10,000 times but if you don't figure out what's going on with the TPS it's still going to run like ***.
If those codes keep popping up your problem isn't plugs.

tps is located in the electric throttle body... correct?

I know Bird of Prey can come off bad at times (I think its funny most of the time though), but he DOES know what he's talking about. Anyone that can take a beat up LS1 from a TA, put it into a beat up Camaro, and pull 11's on it juicing the piss out of it should ATLEAST get some consideration when it comes to their advice. He's been on this scene for the better part of 10+ years, I think it would be wise to atleast consider what he's talking about. I think anyone in your situation that is fairly new to these cars and the mechanics of them should be a little more open minded instead of just going with what everyone else goes with. FWIW, the pioneering nitrous runners here weren't running NGK's, but Champion plugs, and were making it on magazine covers with what they did. Be a little more open minded.
Back to the topic, if it is the TPS, there is a possibility that the voltages going to it are screwed up. Can you remember cutting, splicing, or even nicking a wire going in that direction of the TB? If you haven't already, check the connections going to the TPS, and check the wiring going from the TPS to the PCM, and check the voltages being imputed into the PCM from the TPS. If you have a GM service manual on disc, it should tell you what those reference voltages are.

yeah i think i will just take out the TR6's and put TR55's then just swap in the Br7ef when im going to spray, just trying to stay in the boundaries of what everyone else is doing so if they had problems with it i could relate aswell.
But the TB sensor wiring all looks fine, its all pretty clean, I will have to just check down every wire. but checking the voltage am i just turning the key on and poking around with the multimeter?

I believe a TPS voltage has to be checked with the car idling. Now, this is up to you, but what I usually do is take a sewing needle and pierce the jacket of the wire till I hit the copper, and use the needle as a lead. If you do pierce the jacket, you need to tape up the hole where the needle pierced with GOOD VINYL TAPE (3M 88T telephone tape is best). What you can also do is stick the test lead of the multimeter in the backside of the pigtail of the TPS (I would not suggest doing this with the PCM connector). Check every wire going to the TPS for continuity (your multimeter will have a setting with a continuity audible alarm).

I have the TR55's and the TR6's right in front of me and their both the same tip except TR55 is gapped .055 and TR6 at .035, when I ran 100-150 shots before I had zero detonation problems with them. The TR6's haven't change since I have ran them, whats the difference in them ? Just trying to get a good answer so it can be posted in the Nitrous section.

Question of the day, my 2000 Camaro died After running for a short period of time, Friday 1-23-15. Now I find myself with a no start no run condition. fuel pump is not running, relay is good, Reader giving me a P1515 code, without cutting the access hole in the floor just to check for power, does anyone know wich of the 8 wires coming out of the plug going up to the top of the tank is the one I should be checking for power ? Out of the 8 wires the grey wire seems to be a heavier gauge than the rest, I'm assuming that's the wire. Does anyone know for sure ??? .
