hi guys
I need a little help
any of you could tell me how many degrees is the original thermostat in my 3.8 AT 1996?
you know of any thermostat that operates at a lower temperature?
I have a little problem with the temperature of my camaro, I already solved with cleaning my radiator but I would like to lower the temperature
any recommendations?
160 works too as long as you are not in cold climates where you need nice hot heat. So generally most people go with the 180*. But yea the 160* hypertech one does fit our cars, I ran the same one in mine for quite a few years.
the newer cars approx 99+ like a 180* over the 160* and sometimes throw a code. He has a 96 so a 160 is just fine unless like I said he runs it in the winter.
