I have a 2 gauge pod. Besides an AFR gauge, opinions on the 2nd gauge. Leaning toward fuel pressure. If so for anyone who has done it, how did you install the pressure sensor?

I'm saving for aeroforce's interceptor gauge....250$ and it plugs into your OBDII port...lets you see 2 paramaters at a time, and can cycle through a bunch more. You can even read and clear DTC codes with it.

There are additional external sensors such as fuel pressure, boost, etc that you can have hooked into it as well.

To me its a great all round tool that will relay far more information to you than any one gauge.

fuel pressure gauges have a sending unit that you just get the right fitting for, then screw into your fuel rails schrader valve (make sure you take the valve out first, you'll need a $2 valve remover thingy they use for bicycles, its like a little nipple you have to get out...it just unscrews)

OK then. That's what I needed. Time to inspect one of my spare rails.

            Is there something else? LOL

Going with AEM electronic analog (black face & red backlight) to match the rest of the interior gauges.

Since I live in AZ, I think I'm going to get a oil temp gauge as the 2nd gauge.

whats the significance of an oil temp gauge? just curious...what would cause oil to get too hot?

110* weather + 210* engine = very hot oil. Very hot oil becomes thinner and can breakdown. Broken down oil is VERY VERY BAD

I intend to use an oil cooler, thereby providing an engine cooling supplement system. This will allow me to monitor it.

If you used an oil cooler, you would never heat up your oil! LOL
