  • Egr valve from a bonneville??

I need to replace an EGR valve and ralized how freakin' expensive new ones are so I'm considering used.

I have a guy offereing me one from a Bonneville. He says the valves are the same? Is he right?

Not sure of the Bonneville year. I'm waiting on his response right now.

I'm thinking the connectors might be different and that the only interchangeable car would be the Camaro.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Need to know what kind of engine the bonne has, what kind of car YOU have to really make a guess, and even then its not a guarantee if it works.

        I've got a 99 3.8L.

His is a 1998-2000 model non supercharged 3.8L. He sent me pics and they seem to be the same.

I'll just go and try it out I guess.

I just thought I'd ask here first.

Its possible it would work, only thing that would make it not work is whatever recirculation tube is on the Bonne with it being an FWD engine.

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...
