  • Troubleshooting: Hesitation/Bogging - Running Lean

Trying to pinpoint a starting place. The issue:

-Hesitation/Bogging during medium to hard acceleration
    -Idle fluctuation especially at startup
    -SES on, throwing codes:

p0171 system too lean (bank 1)
p0174 system too lean (bank 2)

When I accelerate med to hard it bogs initially for a second or two, then seems to catch itself and accelerate normally. Almost feels like its misfiring sometimes. Replaced the fuel filter and ran great for a few days, then problem slowly persisted.

I'm thinking fuel pump or bad injector? or intake leak?

    Appreciate the input.

I would check your vac. lines and also check your fuel pump for what PSI it is at.

Def sounds like a vacuum leak.
