    Re: Replacing the O2 sensor?

    1. Rent an O2 sensor socket from auto parts store.
    2. Jack the front of the car up.
    3. Get under the car with the O2 sensor socket and new O2 sensor.
    4. Put the socket over the sensor and twist counterclockwise.
    5. Unplug the old sensor and remove.
    6. Twist the new sensor clockwise till it gets tough.
    7. Put socket back on sensor and tighten it up.
    8. Plug sensor back in.
    9. Lower car and eat a candy bar. Also, enjoy better mpg and a smoother running car.

Alternately, if you are replacing the post-cat sensor, I believe a 15mm wrench will suffice. And if you aren't able to get the sensor loose, spray it with some penetrating oil.

x2 on the o2 socket. I find the open ended ones work best.
