  • stalling car/crank position sensor question

hey guys.. i drove the camaro a little last week and i had a problem, on my short drive i was at a stop sign and I was letting the clutch out to pull out from the stop sign and the car just cut out on me.

it was a sudden cut out, like someone just shut the key off, and the SES light was on, so I figured that it was the problem.

I scanned the car, and it was the standard evap code, there was only one code, but in the stored codes there was a crank position sensor code, and there was also a crank speed code.

So basically, im not sure if those crank codes were the reason the car stalled, or not, and I just wanted your guys opinion.

one bit of info, after the car stalled, i drifted into a parking spot, and tried to start the car, and it fired right up with no problems at all, and it drove home perfectly, but Im a bit scared to drive it incase it completely cuts out on me.
