what do you guys mean by fuel pump? I just took my car into the shop today because the fuel gauge on my car keeps bouncing around and keeps saying the tank is full when it isn't.. when I called the repair guy he mentioned something about a fuel pump

that's the fuel sending unit which is intergral to the fuel pump. you have to change the fuel pump to fix that problem. i'm on my third fuel pump...one for the faulty gage and one for leaving me on the side of the road.1999 Y87 Camaro<br />Whisper Lid, SLP SS Takeoff ExhaustComment

you can't get those parts. on autozone.com all they have is the fuel pump which includes all of those things in one unit (i think) for $385. i just had a fuel pump installed last week. the part was $345 and the labor was $230. total $625 out the door...sucks.1999 Y87 Camaro<br />Whisper Lid, SLP SS Takeoff ExhaustComment
