Its been pouring rain for the last 2 days here and my passenger side floor is a pool of water, looks to me like its coming from the passngerside firewall, kinda by the gromet...I'm guessing its the gromet ...how can I fix this? I may need to run more wires through there at a later date, but for the meantime how can I prevent this from leaking water/ get a new gromet...I don't want my floor rotting out...I've pulled the passenger side floorboard plug in the meantime to drain the water...

The only way to do it is to replace the grommet. -

x2 - Black RTV silicone has so many uses and usually its just a matter of scraping it away with a piece of plastic or your fingernail when you want to replace it.Originally posted by ssms5411 View Post

Well it was pissing out, like torrential downpour so ya it made a litttle pool...not sure wherelse it could comefrom?
