I keep looking at these aftermarket pumps and I'm a little confused. I tried to research this but it was useless. Are these pumps some sort of replacement that go inside the housing of the already existing fuel pump assembly? My car is all stock for the most part, except the replacement assy I bought from autozone about 2 years ago. My car, again is in need of a new pump, it'd be nice to have my fuel gage work and have an awesome pump feeding my car. I just dont want to waste another 400 bucks on an entire assy that's going to break down in 2 years because I do a lot of throttle work. Does anyone have a detailed write up on an 02 or similar they did that I could refer to?
