My sis has a 99 cavalier and she can't just turn her car. If she wiggles the stering wheel some eventually she can switch the car on, can I spray some WD 40 in the key hole and try to losen it up? Its as if the switch is locked in place... before I wiggle the wheel and some how free it

    Re: lock cylinder help

Even though this is about a cav and not an fbody, principle is the same.. The car needs a new ignition switch. You might be able to fumble around to get it to work temporarily but ultimately thats what youll need to do. Hope this helps.
