I was just wondering, how long will it take for my SES to go out? should it happen instantly or will it take awhile?

You have to reset the light. Take it to a parts store or somewhere they can reset it, because it has a pending code in the PCM still. -

There's a code reader scanner you can buy at any parts store for OBDII and it does have an erase selection on it.Originally posted by Need4Camaro View Post
OR you can simply unplug your battery for a couple of minutes and plug back up again. I haven't done this with my 4th gen bird but it works with my other cars.Comment

I went to the autostore and had it reset by O-Reilly's...yay.
