Not possible considering the ICM and PCM are controlling only three coils. You need to find a way to control 6, and you're going to need more than just an MSD DIS-4. Wouldn't see the point unless you're building something insane....
Im going to bump this thread. What do you guys know about acetone and denatured alchol?
They just recently changed our emissions for 2013 and all 98+ vehicles get the OBD2 test, while I get shafted and have to do a 2 speed idle test.
Last time I could do a "deal", now they have changed the setup so that they are filming/taking pictures of the whole process...Not sure if I can get this thing on the road unless I figure out a way to clean up the idle some.
The test now only checks HC and CO, not NOX anymore, which is good I guess. Looks like from my post 2 years ago on here that I was high in HC, don't know where my CO sat at.
Whose an expert at passing these things? I am going to bump my spark way up as suggested much earlier (didnt do that last time)
But I want to hear more about denatured alchol/methyl hydrate
I would bump your idle up to 1000 rpms and see how it does.

When did they change this?? Taking pictures of the process? Either where I take it fudges the whole thing or I didn't hear about drastic changes...

1997 Camaro 30th 'vert... GT1 cam/C6 wheels/Flowmaster/HIDs/Viper 2 way alarm/Alpine audio mods up the wazoo
2005 Equinox LT... mostly stock daily/Thule snowsports roof system/sound + interior mods
They don't tell you that they film it on their website, but I have been talking to my sources and there is a discussion in the canadian section on ls1tech regarding it. It is going to be extremely tough to fudge the test.
The test doesn't need to be "filmed" I don't believe, it's actually a series of pictures (clarifying what I said earlier) but they have to be of the front/back/side/dashboard of the vehicle.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
