I use a 160 thermo and my temp only starts creeping up in heavy stop and go traffic on a warm day, or in hill climb events. I've been told several times that my thermo is bad for the car though.

Hes doesnt seem to have access to hptuners or other tuning software, which is why i would recommend 180

I will just do 180 with a switch for the fans. Seems like the most safe route.

            Thanks.

With a 160 he would have that fan on all the time. I feel to run 160 a tune is a must.

When I do the switch, do I have to buy one of those expensive ones? Or has anyone discovered which wires do the job? And when would be a good time to turn them on/off?
