Bird, I wrecked the car and bought an SS fiberglass hood. I was going to eventually, plans just moved up a few years. The SS hood has ducting that interfered with the whisper.
Find that kinda hard to believe. I can't readily find a pic, but I had a HUGE fast toys lid on my WS6 that cleared the stock hood ducting with no issue. Even my SLP lid didn't rub.
This should give you an idea of how much bigger the FTP lid is.
I tried closing the SS hood over it, and it started bending over the lid.
I'm okay with the hood though, it brings in ambient air, as measured by the IAT by Scangauge.
Honestly, with how old these cars are getting, suspension. Bilsteins. You're pretty much wasting money with anything less. Bring the log! Go to the 2:00 mark on the vid.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
