Lots of older cars today are introducing LS swaps. (miata, Silvia, Rx7, Camaro)
so the demand has definitely increased for these.. getting pretty hard to find.
Wait, Is that a V6 or V8? 1990 Chevrolet C-K 1500 series 4.3L .. 5spd
1994 JDM Euno Roadster 1.8L 5spd Bolt Ons.. etc 2000 Camaro 3.8L Auto Bolt Ons..etc
Hard to find? car-parts.com and ebay have a plethora of options.
sorry i mean harder to find at a reasonable price in reasonable condition... but then again i guess if you look hard enough there is always a diamond in the rough.

Most LS motors are going on average of 3k these days. You can get a solid 5.3 for around $500 bucks easily from any GM truck or SUV and could be built like an LS1. The only major difference is 20hp but I heard a lot of guys even swapping out the LS1 for the 5.3 iron block to handle more hp.

This is exactly why I'm swapping out my LS1 for a 5.3L. Drooling when I think of running bottom 9's with a stock bottom end. I don't think I could get there with the LS1.
