Jittering drivers outside mirror

Replaced the drivers mirror assembly after i mistakenly tore it off backing up. Got new housing with glass mirror but when I drive the glass shakes. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this? Thanks.

the glass probably isn't seated in the mirror properly.....if i remember correctly there are studs with balls on them (like me bahahaha) on the housing side that go into that pop into the back of the glass, or maybe its the other way around.

so the obvious question is: how do you remove the mirror glass to re-set it without breaking the glass????????

the obvious answer is....very carefully.... well really.....

you are going to just pull on the glass preferably from both sides at the same time. the balls are sitting in plastic and are kind of anchored in, you'll see what i mean once you get it off... but before you take it off. you might want to just tilt the glass al the way to one side and see if you can see whats not connected you might be able to just push it back in.
