  • 99 camaro misfire?

Hey Guys I have a 99 Camaro and recently my SES light came on well not recently bout 3 or more months. But now it started blinking and my car seems to be misfiring I'm not sure if its the ignition coils, ignition module, spark plugs or the spark plug wires. I have always done the oil changes and easy stuff my self but Ive never changed the spark plugs or wires my self ( To me it was just too complicated) So i always paid but I think the mechanic I paid last time didnt do a proper job with one spark plug wire ( i checked it out from where it connects to the ignition coil and its rusty)

So now Im debating whether to buy the ignition coils spark plug and wires all together or buy the ignition module.

Does anyone know where to buy these parts for cheap and are my assumptions correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I hope i put these in the correct section.

Easy stuff first. Plugs and wires.
Rockauto for plugs, and get the MSD wires elsewhere. ACDelco wires are crap.

Why don't you have the SES read first before you do anything. A bad MAF can also cause a misfiring too.

If it's spark plugs you can access the 2 up front, but the rest you're going to have to go underneath. If you have headers they'll be easy to access.
