I have a 2000 camaro with a 3.8L, while driving down the highway I hit something that hit the air conditioning compressor. It knocked off the compressor broke the front bracket that bolts the air conditioning compressor to the front of the motor. I haven't been able to locate the front bracket yet. Has anyone deleted their air conditoning compressor and ran the belt a different route? do you have any info on how to do this? please let me know, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Many people who have done turbo setups delete the A/C to provide more room for piping.
Seems you need a different sized belt and to swap the Idler pully to a different one.
