Hey guys new guy here, just got a 94 3.4 T Top 5 spd camaro. Gas mileage is only 14. Now granted it needs o2 sensors anda tuneup (plugs wires oil change) You guys think that will make a huge difference? I keep the tires pumped up and drive like a grandma

Yes it would. Along with changing the air filter, cleaning the intake, and even sea foam would help as well.

I plan on seafoaming it. 1 can in the gas and another can between brake booster pvc and oil. Getting plugs and.wires changed out tomorrow will do o2 sensors asap should i go with platinum plugs? And how many o2 sensors do i have?

I seafoamed mine at 90k and it responded very nicely. I did get alittle more pickup but my fuel mileage wasnt effected.

As for the OP - O2's brought me down from 27 MPG Highway to 23... so it will make a fairly large difference.. plugs / wires can too but they typically don't do a tremendous number unless you're misfiring.

                  I wouldn't go with Bosch O2's , Rockauto will have a good selection, I think I have Denso's.

It's got 130K the error code is tripped for both o2 sensors. Gonna probably replace them with the premium Bosch direct replacement ones. They are 30 a piece at my local advanced auto

When i go up a hill there is a harsh hesitation like it hits a wall then it will clear up and go on. SOmetimes it will idle so low it wants to cut off then shoots back up. And my oil presuure gauge drops at idle then goes back up when I take off will stay up as long as I don't stop

There have been many comments in the past to stay away from the Bosch O2's - be forewarned.

I have over 350K now and accomplished that by religious sythetic oil changes. EGR valve and annual spark plug swaps. Your plugs will tell you clues about the engine combustion characteristics in each cylinder. I caught valve stem seal oil leaks and slightly loose rocker arms to reach this milestone. It doesnt smoke black, blue or white smoke either now. To me this is the key for long engine life.

MPG was the subject asked, everyone chimed in with great ideas. I'd include annual coolant, transmission and rear end differential fluid changes as well. I'm still on the factory stock drivetrain with 4 decent brand tires all around.
