  • L36 to L26 swap questions

    I recently bought a 98 camaro RS with a blown engine. The previous owner already removed the engine and trans. I am swapping a L26 from a 2008 Buick lucerne with 26K on the clock. I am having issues finding the right bolts for the intake in the big box of parts he gave me.

    Do any of you guys have pics from your swap ot can I at least use the lower intake bolts from the L26?

    Any help will be appreciated!!

    Your going to need a l36 lower and upper intake also the front cover and oil pan.

      I dd that swap, i ended up pulling all the studs out of the bird engine and outting them in the lecurn engine. Pita, but for an 11k mile engine it was worth it

          My bad, meant the oil filter location.

            I used every piece from my L36 on to the L26.
