I was checking on the delivery status of my part and now the web site says the Dorman 594-004 isn't compatable with my 2000 Camaro???

When I ordered the part I looked it up under my car and it said it was a match. Now the eBay seller has updated his product information and it states the part will not fit a 2000 Chevy Camaro 3.8. What the hell? I guess I'll just have to reject the delivery.

If its for a 3800 II or III it will work.

LastCallKillIt, I don't know. I am a novice. I am going to look at my engine and see if it says II or III on it. The part description itself doesn't give much detail.

I have to figure it out as the part will be delivered tomorrow and I need to know if I can accept it or reject it. I do not want to pay $15 in shipping charges to return a part that won't work. I'd rather reject the delivery.

If its in an F-Body its a Series II. I put a Series III in my car.

The one on the left is from a Series III L26, the one on the right is from a Series II L36

I still have another one of those L26 fuel rails and both sets of aluminum upper and lower intakes. Can't believe none of that FWD **** has sold yetr

Well, the part came in. The seller placed a 9lb. part in a box that could only contain a 4lb. package. The shipment was beat to hell--it was so slammed around during shipping the Silica salt bag inside burst and threw salt all over the part. Even the orange plastic cover made to protect the teeth had two gashes in it. I had to send it back. What a pain in the neck.

This novice has learned something new. My car has the new style balancer on it, not the old one. Man, what a pain in the neck.

I grabbed these links from FirebirdGT on another thread. I don't think you can put the old style on my car? I guess I'm screwed.

WarShrike, I am searching now for people parting out their V6 Camaro's. Hoping I'll get lucky and find someone with the part I need. I don't think I can use the old style on my car. This really pisses me off as there is NOTHING wrong with my car except for this freaking balancer. So upset right now.
