  • 1997 Camaro spare tire size?

Hey guys new to the forum. I just bought a 1997 Camaro v6 with 79800 miles. However it is missing the spare tire, jack, lugwrench and mounting hardware so I'm trying to track it down. I have found conflicting information regarding the 97 model. I have seen where some say it is a 16 inch wheel for the spare and some say 15 inch. Are they interchangable or should I be looking for a specific size? I plan to try my local junkyard soon and want to know what to look for. Thanks in advance.

93-97 got the 15" spares the 98-2002 got the 16" to clear the bigger brakes.

    You can use the 98+

If you live close to Niagara Falls I got everything you need(jack/spare/mount) for $20.00

Thanks for the info and the offer but I live in Missouri. Kind of a long drive!
