My fuel pump decided to stop working the other day. It's a big job to change it so it made me question if I can just add an electric aftermarket pump on the fuel line and not worry about dropping the gas tank?

Re: fuel pump
Im sure someone else will have better advice, but ive seen many people cut a square in the metal above the tank (behind the back seat ) to get access to it. Id make sure to look into it more and be careful. Good luck though

Re: fuel pump
Cutting the hole is so much easier to do, its the only way I would do it again.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: fuel pump
Stock should be fine, I would look on ebay, no sense paying double at the dealership.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
