  • Acceleration Issue

Hey all, so lately when I have been driving and I'm under steady accelaration, once I put more pressure to the pedal the car seems to bog and the exhaust gets deeper and sounds as if it is working harder then it should and the rpm needle sort of idles or barely climbs. But once I really put my foot down it bypasses that dilemna and goes back to normal. I have no codes so I'm kind of at a loss. I was thinking maybe a small misfire, injectors clogged, fuel filter?

You think so? They are both brand new as I installed true duals. But from scraping and a little banging could this have destroyed them internally?

Have you changed your Fuel Filter?

If not that could be it.

Depends on how hard they were banging. I know with mine I hit a very tall speed bump and it did ruin my cat.

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...
