Hi, I just swapped an engine for a 1997 Camaro into a 1998 Firebird. I pulled the entire assembly out the bottom and did the swap off the car. Used the wiring/PCM and most of the sensors from the 98

I went to start it for the first time and nothing. No click, no anything. The gauges are acting all weird, too. The voltmeter doesn't read at all and the odometer/trip meter are both blank. Not even 00000 or anything. I checked and it seems that everything is getting power as I would expect it in the underhood fuse boxes. Voltage is at about 12.5 volts. Keyless entry works fine, headlights work fine, interior lights are working, radio is working. The security lights come on and then turns off after a few seconds. SES light isn't on or anything.

I am at a loss as to what would cause this, any troubleshooting ideas out there?

Do you hear your FP priming? There might not be any power going to your starter.

      Yeah, the FP was priming.

I figured out the issue, so for anyone in the future:

Those 3 connectors on the passenger side near the kick panel. I forgot to reconnect them. Once I got them reconnected the car fired up without any issue. I just needed a break for dinner, I figured it out while staring at the grill cooking a steak.
