I use Castrol 5W30 only because I get it for 1.69 a qt at my job or free depending on the circumstances, leftovers, and its only until I get a new oil pan gasket, thats what Ive used for a year now. Then Im switching to AMSOIL. I know a guy that deals the entire DFW area.

i've been using Mobil 1 high mileage on my bird. i've also tried quaker state, cheveron, castrol, and probably another or two. i have not tried penzoil.
my car seems to burn through all those oil EXCEPT for mobil 1. it's the only one that seems to last for me. it is a little spendy, but it's worth it for me.
There is a reason it goes into a lot of high end cars/ high performance cars. Not saying that's I or you have, but it's proven itself time and time again. I store my car for more than half the year and in my experience, I find synthetic oil to store better. That could just be me, but I've never had a bad experience. My daily driver gets whatever is on sale, but my toys get Mobil 1!
