  • differences between 96-98\99 and 99-2002 3.8's

    sorry i may have messed up the years. i know that the throttle body and exhaust manifolds changed in 2000. but are there any other differences in the motor, block, heads, pistons, etc. and what about the transmissions i know they are the same models, but are there differences? or are they completely interchangeable?

    No - the TB / UIM changed in 1999.

      thanx i knew i had seen that information somewhere before. i meant to put 99/2000 when referring to throttlebody/exhaust manifolds. preciate it
