  • 3.4L Oil Leak - Found and Repaired

I've noticed a slight oil leak in my 1993 Firebird over the past few days. Could not tell exactly where it was coming from as it was running across the crossover pipe, back to the flywheel cover, and kind of all over the place.

Put the car up on stands and found that the oil pressure switch had blown out for a second time. This one lasted for about 4 years. They seem to crack right where the harness plugs into it. Then the oil runs out the plug end, down the wiring harness, and leaks all over the place.

Just thought i'd post for any 3.4 guys. Something to look out for.
