    Re: engine swap?

well i decided to just buy a rebuilt 3.8. the guy told me though that anything i want done to the motor/put in/on is labor free as long as its done prior to the motor being put in soooo. my question is if you were in my shoes, what would you have done?

money does matter so don't say turbo it or something crazy. i just wanted some ideas because i wasn't sure what he meant by ppl have things put in and such. only things he rattled off was a thermostat and aftermarket water pump

        Re: engine swap?

Different TB's, I'd do cam, valve springs , pushrods , retainers and tune.
        08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

Id make sure allll the gaskets are replaced with good ones. Not cheap gaskets. 105# springs would be good. Also making sure the lifters aren't gunked up would be a smart idea. Would be hell of a lot easier to change all that now

You don't think they would do that with a rebuild?

I'd hope so for the amount of money I'm paying...

So this upper intake is good on the camaros right?
