So here I am going to the auto parts store to buy more seafoam for the Camaro, and when I go to crank it, the car sounds really weird. Well I stop at a stop sign and it dies.... Never did that before. So I was like okay, and went to start it back up, and it doesnt turn the engine at all whatsoever, it just sounds like a bad blender underneath the car. No clue what happened or whats wrong or how to fix it. Seems like one thing after another with this car, but its apparent the last owner wasn't very cautious.

Re: Starter just sounds like blender with no crank
well if it sounds like that then it could be just loose its only held on by 2 long bolts anyways. or it just stripped but that seem hardly impossible to me. the only way that could happen is if the starter was not contacting the flywheel right and just stripped cause of it

Re: Starter just sounds like blender with no crank
pretty easy...check the connection on it...I had that problem before and I remember it having to do with the wiring down on the starter, but I can't remember what exactly it was

Re: Starter just sounds like blender with no crank
Well Guys I got a new starter today $600 Later + the 6 mile tow. The other starter apparently disintegrated and feel apart.... Weird but he said he has an LT1 in the shop that did the same thing, but Idk. Really random. Any ideas on how that happens?
