About 4 weeks ago I noticed a strong fuel smell while driving, and my MPH has dropped well below 20. I did recently replace the fuel pump but i don't think that would be the problem. Any suggestions? Maybe the ICU? or the brain?
    thanks.

Should I be looking for broken cracked lines? Or blown fuses/ relays?

x2 on the evap system. Since you just did the fuel pump you may have pulled something loose. If you built a trap door when you did the fuel pump you could look under it for any damaged lines. You could also look under the hood on the pass side and look for any loose or damaged vacuum lines. The rest of the evap lines are ran under the body. Easiest way to check those would be to smoke test them, but would probably have to be done by a shop unless you have a smoke machine lying around. I would check what lines you can, and just run it for a bit and see if you get a DTC coming up in case there is a problem with one of the evap components like the purge solenoid or something.

What would cause the fuse to blow?

Its eather time for it to go, or too many amps rushed through (amps it the flow of electricity)

If it keeps happening then that something too look into and figure out why it is doing it . My cigeret lighter fuse went out and that cause the code scaner not to comunicate with my firebird pcm . It was an easy fix 25 amp fuse. N it was free since in the shop we had a bunch of em laying around

I keep blowing fuses. Where's a good place to start in trouble shooting this short?

It's the engine sensor fuse. So that means it could be o2, maf, evap, and/or egr?
