  • bump stops?

was pulling the passenger wheel on the rear of the t/a today, decided to inspect things while i was in there and noticed the bump stops are junk.

i know there isnt a direct replacement for them and ive seen the strano replacements are just ones from a jeep that need modified a bit.

so other than the stranos, is there any other option other than just taking them off all together? im not lowered, but ill be moving to adjustable shocks and springs so i dont want the damn thing bottoming out hitting the under body every time i hit a bump in the road.

current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

I used Energy Suspension 9-9137 when I did mine. They fit well with just a slight modification.

Get some 3rd gen ones from the junkyard. They are of a much better quality than the crap they put on the 4th gens.

So true . I got mine from a 3rd gen trans am , it was a special edition aperently. It was only 5 buck and there hard rubber. And still holding up to this date . Got them about a year ago. And before that they were on that 3rd gen for at least 20 years
