It has been awhile since I have been on here, but I am now having AC problems and I live in Houston. The AC was never really blowing cold, so I stopped at Autozone for an AC recharge 134A with stop leak. The pressure gauge was on the low side, so I recharged. The A/C is blowing less cold than before and with the transmission in Park, I am getting vibration with the A/C on. With the engine in Drive, the vibration appears to go away. Without digging into it, did I overcharge? Haynes lists R-134A equivalent.

Did it vibrate before you added the refrigerant?

Due to the lag in the system, I put too much refrigerant in the system. My low side pressure was about 100 psig. It should have been about 40 psig. Once I removed the refrigerant, the compressor quit vibrating.
