  • Shocked by coil

I was trying to see if it could fix my misfire, and trying to see if unplunging one plug wire at a time would changed my idle and no luck it kept idling the same i tried 3 different plugs.

but i got shocked on accident trying to use something the reconect the wire to the coil and i was wondering if there is enough amps going threw our ignition system to hurt someone and there just stock volt after market coil nothing high voltage or anything.

    Re: Shocked by coil

Voltage is high but amps are low. Volts dont kill/hurt like amps do.

Ive been shocked timing motors before and getting shocked by an electric cattle fencer hurts way worse.
