    Maybe this?

I think the mods will work (as in "run ok") without a tune, but whether or not they'll work "just fine" may need to be assessed. The problem is, if there's a vacuum leak or an exhaust leak or other problem that's causing the ECM to set those codes, you can't really test effectively for how the engine's performance has changed as a result of the mods.

As I said before, I think it unlikely the headers are causing the lean codes because you were setting those codes before you put the headers on, however, the headers could have made the problem worse if their installation was faulty and there are additional exhaust leaks because of that.

First, fix the problem that's causing the engine to run too lean in closed loop.

Next, get a wideband and see if the changes in intake and exhaust flow have altered the WOT AFR enough to need recalibration.

Well i was able to temporarily seal it up with quick steel. There are no longer EGR codes (P0401) in the computer so i am assuming its no longer an issue. But when I find one I am getting another one.

Okay sounds good. I only asked because before the install, I only had one bank lean, now its both. and also before the install, I had the manifolds leaking on the y pipe connection
