I have a 2000 Camaro and the strut on the right just pulled out of the screw mount that is mounted on the rear window....does anyone think I need to replace the entire strut?
My driver side sun visor has gotten floppy and I don' know how to tighten if up if that is possible.
As to the strut I would discuss this with someone at an auto parts store as they may have some idea how to re-attach it with some product they sell. I rely on one of them in my area for help.
As to the visor, is the entire visor drooping down or just the corner as on my Firebird? If the entire unit is drooping you may want to try wrapping some thread around the area and pushing it in. It may be enough for tension to keep it in the up position.
Good Luck!
