  • Camaro Hatch strut disconnected itself

Right Hatch strut became disconnected and I have been unable to
figure a way to reconnect. The threads in the top screw mount are fine and there is enough pressure in the strut so it cannot be moved back enough to reconnect it.
I need some clear instructions on how to make it happen,.
    thanks.

I can't find my damn camera...just imagine that the strut is disconnected from the hatch and you see the threads at the end in fine shape...then imagine to small mount attached to the hatch that I cannot pull off and one needs to go into the other. Does that help at all????????????????
