I use synthetic on all my 3 cars and they all have a small leak. My brother use regular oil on his 2 cars and they both have the same high mileage as mine and they don't leak.
I'm guessing it does cause leak, but it's healthier for your engine.

Synthetics are know to leak more - and if you look at the oil pan "gasket/windage tray" design you'll see that it is a major point for leaks.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com
