I have several inches of play in my steering. I have new outer tie rods, old inner ones. Any Ideas? Car is a 2002 v6 camaro.

Probably the steering column and steering box need to be inspected to see if anything is loose. -

Look at the bushings all around too.
Just jack it up with the front wheels free and have someone turn the wheels and see what it does.
I did this once to my old '88 pick up and I ended up replacing worn out bushes.Comment
