I have several inches of play in my steering. I have new outer tie rods, old inner ones. Any Ideas? Car is a 2002 v6 camaro.

    thanks!

Probably the steering column and steering box need to be inspected to see if anything is loose.

Look at the bushings all around too.

Just jack it up with the front wheels free and have someone turn the wheels and see what it does.

I did this once to my old '88 pick up and I ended up replacing worn out bushes.
