ok, now both point to the transmission. but its not a transmission problem. the car misfires and backfires. never while cold. only after heating up, and never at WOT. I am thinking im needing a pcm, but who knows, any opinions?

P1860 TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit Electrical
^^somebody correct me if i'm wrong on those^^
so it's not a transmission problem? if it's misfiring, it should have read a code about a cylinder missing. i would start by checking all the electrical connections in the tranny and fluid just to be sure. sounds like it may be a PCM issue.1996 Pontiac <a href=\"http://www.fullthrottlev6.com\" target=\"_blank\">Firebird</a> <br />Black, 3.8L A4

yeah i know what you mean. there is no code for misfire though. LOL. Thats the funny thing. IM going to check the connections on the Trans. and then the fluid like you said. But i am really thinking its the pcm.Pain Heals, Chicks dig Scars, and Glory is forever.<br />3 inch custom CAI, 8.8 Accel Spiro Fero wires, Bosch platinums, Flowmaster 80 series catback
