  • tail lights...help needed

Im posting this for a friend who has a 97' firebird. His brake lights quit working today and he cannot figure out what is wrong. He has already checked all the fuses and the brake pedal switch what could be the problem. After reviewing the haynes shop manual he thinks it something to do with the cuise contol or the headligh/running light switch. Help would be appriciated!!!

PS. his third brake light works through all the test he performs. he also has sequential tail lights but that isnt the problem...they were properly installed and tested and have nothin to do with the problem..

I was woundering if you ever got a chance to fix that problem yet? I am having the same problem with my 96 Camaro. Both brake lights are not working but my third brake light is working fine.
