  • Brake Line Fitting????

    What size brake line fitting do I need??? I got a 10mm fitting but it doesn't seal all the way and is squirting fluid every were. Note I'm installing a SLP line lock kit and had to buy a new fitting b/c I stripped the one it came with

      Call your local f-body shop. Those fitting are specific, and often need to have the tubing flared / etc. Perhaps not your everyday home depot stuff.

        I got it from Autozone. I think I'm just going to buy a long enough piece of pipe and re bend it. I think my flare is whats creating the leak.

          Why not try and reflare it then? Or is the piece too short now? Did you put a double flare on it?

            ya I double flared it but I think i did a crap time since it was my first time flaring it. Buying a new piece is probbly easier then reflaring it and cutting it and all that stuff.
