Update on my car

I told him to go ahead and start working on it. I told him not to buy the badges and all that stuff I will buy them later online. I told him not to buy new fog lights ($120 a piece to replace), for that price I could get a grill and brighter headlights thus never noticing I didn't have them.

I'm just getting the stock replacement hood because the SS is $500 more.

I'm going to buy clear corners at autozone or somewhere (was going to by them thursday online until I saw shipping was 15 bucks)

Monday I'm going to apply for a loan to pay for this (If I can't get it then I will have to apply for credit cards and put it on there)

So for $3,200 I will have a car that looks the same except for clear corners and fog lights.

He said it will take the better part of a week to fix it (meaning about 1.5-2 weeks)


If anyone could point me towards a place that sells fog lights that would look good and fit well in the stock location that would be great.

I see 93-97 stock camaro foglights on ebay alot, but they go for about $80-$150, depending on condition. Then you have the people that put the PIAA foglights on, but I don't think they look as good as the stockers. On 98+ camaro's, they look great because there is a cutout that fits them nicely.

Thanks Hockeyman, I think I'll just get the sealed beam conversion and a grill.

My headlights all work... So I will stick with them for now. However I won't have foglights, The headlights should be good enough for a while until I get the sealed beam conversion.


I have decided I'm going to get a grill to cover where the fog lights would be.

on my car the fog lights dont even really do crap. I was just driving through some hella-fog about 30 minutes ago and i turned them off then on and there was no difference in visibiliy
