I am so tired of these little things going wrong with my car. It seems as soon as I get one thing fixed there's nother problem. When I turn the blinker on to go to the left, and I have made the turn the dumb blinker does not turn off, I have to turn it off by hand. The blinker SHOULD turn off by it's self. The right side does. How can I fix this problem. How much $$$$ is this going to cost me. THANKS Kevin.

I totally understand where you are coming from about all the litle stuff going wrong..although I've never had a problem with the turn signal..yet..but I think the problem you have isn't too serious and you may just want to save your money for a bigger problem..

I am a freak about little things like this. I can't have anything wrong with my car, I am always at the chevy dealer-ship getting parts.

just go to autozone and buy new brake lights for the side it doesnt work on , check your break lights...one of them wont work

Or possibly one of ur front turn indicators. LoL.

It's not the light, its the little thing that turns the blinker off after making a turn.

Its a 2 dollar part over at AutoZone. You have to remove the steering wheel to get to it.

Hey dude, if I'm not mistaken, yeah its most likely directional signal switch....on my older cars that this has happened to, in the switch there is a nylon cam ring that normally has one of the tabs break off. Not a big deal on preairbag cars so becareful if you decide to DIY. I know in the manual it says to take it to the dealer. So either way I hope it works out for you. Good Luck

Does anyone know where the freaking ticker is for the turn signals? Don't 99+ f-bodies not have such a nasty noise when the turn signal is engaged? I HATE that noise ( click click click click STOP SOTP I HAT YOU LITLE NOISE )
