been haveing trouble with my 95 3.4 a4 at first it seemd like a miss under acceleration so i did some things that needed to be done any way like injectors ignition module also i tested the coil packs they are good also new wires but still lose power on hard accel like half throttle or so any thing higher and no power can any one help also the ses light is not on and it works

Get your cat converter checked out, and maybe check for missfires with a tech2 @ gm dealer255/50R16 Tires, Pioneer Deck, Pioneer 4 Way speakers, PPI Amps, JL subs, Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Optima Yellow TopComment

Check the ECM that the coils sit on - it functions as the distributor in our cars & they are prone to fail under load. If your tach jumps all over the place when it's missing, it's probably the ICM (under the coils). My last car did this, and it sounds similar to the problem you're having.
